Wu Mingpei 吳明佩

Wu Mingpei was born in 1971. Her artistic style is influenced by the Lingnan School’s water- and color-splashing techniques.

Blending them with a modern perspective, she transforms ink into flowing meditations on emotion and form.
Indigo, ochre, and free-flowing washes replace the classical cunfa strokes, revealing the ink’s own vitality.

Her works have been exhibited in several countries, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and the National Art Center, Tokyo, as well as in Italy and South Korea. She was also selected for the "Salon d'Automne" in Paris.
